Filter Media

Filter material for Industrial dedusting system
Made from needle felts and fiberglass fabric

At BWF Envirotec you have more than 2,100 different filter media in rolls - suitable filter media for every type of dust and every industrial filter. As an industrial filter manufacturer, we specialize in filtering all types of dust including fine dust.

For bag manufacturers, we produce filter fabric rolls made from synthetic needle felt and fiberglass fabric. We process all common polymer fibers in filter media. We develop custom products specifically for you upon request.

  • BWF Envirotec filter material is made from synthetic fibers. In addition, we designed an additional layer of reinforcement to ensure the stability of the filter fabric.
  • Each type of dust generated during industrial production has different characteristics: fine, sticky, abrasive, strongly chemically active, hot or even explosive. That's why each type of dust needs its own filter material designed for it.
  • Synthetic, high-performance fibers such as: B. polyester fiber, polyimide fiber, polyacrylonitrile fiber, polypropylene fiber or PTFE are used in the production of filter materials.
  • Each fiber has specific properties that make the filter material unique for its field of application.

Filter material - Production process at BWF Envirotec

Our high-tech machinery ensures that highly efficient filter media is produced from fibers and fabrics in various work steps. The multi-layer fiber structure and supporting filter layer make the filter material extremely compact, dimensionally stable and mechanically resilient. Heat treatment is part of the manufacturing process. The filter material can be treated with one-sided heating, double-sided heating, one-sided rolling or one-sided enameling. Application-specific surfaces and protective finishes are applied in the final step. Filter material developed at our internal R&D competency centertrung tâm năng lực R&D nội bộ của chúng tôi .

Filter materials with surface and protective treatments achieve better cleaning performance and react less sensitively to mechanical abrasion and chemical influences. This helps significantly extend the life of the filter material. Depending on the application field of the filter material, our treatment methods can be used individually or in combination.

Filter media - effective against pollutants

The filter material provides high filtration efficiency and effectively filters particles of different sizes from the production process. By choosing the right filter material, you can achieve the desired filtration performance for your specific application. The filter material is strong and resistant to chemical influences and mechanical stress. They have a long service life and can be used in demanding industrial environments without compromising their filtration performance.

Filter media in fabric rolls are available in a variety of lengths, widths and designs, providing a high degree of flexibility in adapting to different bagging options. They can be easily cut and processed in various facilities for further processing. At BWF Envirotec, you can get filter media in a variety of packaging formats. Ask us! We will also find the optimal packaging design and unit for you.

Filter material and their 3D structures

The filter material is always a 3D structure. These include

  • Fiber coating - on the exhaust side (with asymmetrical intake media, no fiber coating on the exhaust side)
  • Scrim support layer - ensures high tear resistance and reliable dimensional stability
  • Fiber coating - on the clean air side
  • Also, depending on the application, an e-PTFE membrane and/or chemical treatment is added

  • The filter material maintains excellent dimensional stability through this multi-layer structure, providing unique strength.
  • The longer the filter bag, the greater the total weight and the weight of the filter cake they must carry and withstand. If the filter bag is stretched beyond the weight it must carry, its lifespan will be significantly shortened.
  • Therefore, dimensional stability through the multidimensional structure of the filter media is extremely important.
  • Filter bags up to 12 m and longer are often used in the filtration process. Longer filter bags create a smaller "geometric footprint", i.e. material savings and production costs are taken into account when designing the filtration system.
